It's a little late to publish this, but we've gotta catch up on our Christmas pictures. One of the highlights of our Christmas was seeing Raleigh's Kindergarten Christmas Program. Raleigh's teacher is Mrs. Grimes, and she and the other teacher, Mrs. Schurter, did such a good job getting all of those kids to perform so well. The kids sang several songs; Dionne's favorite was a country song about ten little angels singing in a band on Christmas morning- all the kids sang in a twangy voice- it was so cute! The real surprise was at the very end when Mrs. Grimes got up with the microphone and said, "Raleigh . . .", and then handed the microphone to her! You can see what happened next in the bottom picture: Raleigh and three other kids said in unison, "Thank you for coming to our Christmas Program. Merry Christmas!" It was a proud moment! (And a surprise because Raleigh never told us about it.)
