Bad to the Bone

Duh Nuh Nuh Nuh Nuh Nuh. Ba Ba Ba Ba Bad to the Bone . . . . (Pretend the song is playing in the background.)

This city never sleeps:
(The view from our hospital room.)

Now that Miss Emery has come to town.

With her hand to the bottle (okay, actually, she's breastfeeding), and her pack-a-day habit (diapers, that is), we're trying to get a little rest around here.

Isn't she sweet?! Don't let the faux-hawk fool you!

  1. Oh my gosh. How sad is it that I didn't even know you were having a baby!?!?! I have been blogabsent for way too long.
I can't believe you had another girl! Lol. She is (no surprise) gorgeous!

  2. Ha ha ha she is so cute!! Those newborns sure like to go through diapers and wake up many times during the night. I can't wait (not super excited about the lack of sleep) but it will all be worth it!!

  8. Dionne, I have just spent a long time catching up on your blog. You are such a great writer. I laaughed, cried, and cooed over your new angel. She is REALLY a beautifull baby. And where in the heck did all that hair come from? Did Kensington have that much? (I never saw her as a newborn...) Well anyway, Emery is really beautiful and I just L-O-V-E her name.
Congratulations. I'll be checking much more often to see if youve posted, cant wait to see more pics of her!
